My focus is on helping clients improve their personal and business performance by using my knowledge, experience and common sense. After training with Sir R McAlpine as an engineer I had my first management job as a site agent in 1972. Over the next 30 years this developed into senior management posts including Regional Director for Norwest Holst and Business Development Manager for John Mowlem & Co. Then subsequently as project manager and business consultant for 10years. During this time I have worked with the CEO’s of International contractors and consultants and a wide range of proprietors and directors of SME businesses throughout the UK. This has provided invaluable insights and experience into what makes businesses and their leaders tick, what makes them succeed and also how they can fail.
In addition to my engineering and executive background I am a Chartered Marketer and qualified business coach. I have studied the sales process for business to business sales and selling professional services. I now use my time working with leaders and their teams to improve their performance in sales, prequalification, tendering and management skills. This is always done with a view on how it will improve profitability and create wealth for your business.
